macOS opening restrictions
This is an ad-hoc signed test application, not a Developer ID signed or Apple-notarized release. macOS may report it as unverified or damaged after an internet download. That message alone is not a successful integrity check.
Only if you obtained the installer from this website and verified the published checksum, you may choose to remove the download quarantine flag from the installed application yourself. In your Mac Terminal, run:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Pulse.app
Then open the application again. This removes a macOS protection flag for this application and does not provide notarization or guarantee that it will open on every machine. Organization-managed devices may prohibit this. A release signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple is needed for normal broad distribution.
Verification and help
The SHA-256 checksum and file size for this download are provided in release information. You can calculate your downloaded file's SHA-256 using shasum -a 256 in Terminal and compare it with that record.
